Stay Away from Kaplan University!!!

I am a mother pursuing a MBA. I was all set to attend Kaplan University and am so glad I trusted my gut! They do not have the students' best interest at heart. All they care about is getting your money. My advisor, unfortunately was very good at what he did (earning our trust and establishing a relationship with the prospective student), but as soon as he shuffled me on to the "closers" it was all high pressure sales, lies and intimidation.

First of all, they were trying to get me to enroll in the "winter quarter." Classes were starting in a week and "I had to hurry to hold my spot!" I told them I'd rather wait until spring, because I didn't like being rushed into anything. All of a sudden "the dean of the business school was going to knock off $1000 tuition and waive the first two tech and book fees." What a line. Then all of a sudden I couldn't get a hold of my advisor. I kept getting this bull *** automated line (they direct your call based on your phone number you are calling from). I sent emails to my advisor (who when I was enrolling would email me 3 or 4 times a day and call). Now all of a sudden he was no where to be found.

Then after a week of emails asking where he was he called and told me that he was sick and out of work. He eased me back in to Kaplan and apologized for the financial guy. He assured me he would look into it and said he should not have told me that the Dean was going to do that.

Again I was all ready to enroll in for the Nov. 12th start and then when it came time for me to give them my deposit again they got pushy.

My advisor's so called "boss" called me and when I told him I was running out the door to drop the baby off and go to work, he would not let me off the phone. He said we had to hurry because I only had a month to enroll and there was a whole process for me to go through to get enrolled. I know this was bull *** because just a week ago they wanted me to start in like 5 days. After a very heated phone call I ended up hanging up on them and he actually had the nerve to call me back right away and then 5 minutes later to see if I had left.

These people are all sales people with no souls. They will treat you like a debt collector and harass you. Please stay away and tell anyone you know that is even considering them to stay away!!!

They only reason they are "top ranked" all over the net is cuz they pay into these websites. If you do your research you will find nothing but bad reviews.
